Awakening to day with a thought of the events recently, I found myself composing a few lines while awakening from rest.
What may I say that would be suitable for a tune of the times?
Oh Freedom we seek.
Americans to be.
As Liberty speaks.
No Kings will be.
Blind Justice should be.
Yet Greed tips the scale.
Let truth prevail.
No Kings will be.
Our pledge allegiance.
Is our call.
To melt the ice.
No Kings will be.
We welcome the tired.
We welcome the poor.
We welcome humanity.
No Kings will be.
Love will prevail.
May God be witness.
Granting Life policy.
No Kings need we.
